A vision aimed at addressing a widely recognised challenge for festival goers.

The founders of SearchParty had a simple idea: let’s create an app to help festival-goers keep track of their friends’ whereabouts. To complement the app, it was crucial that the brand hit the mark and directly resonated with the target audience. We assisted SearchParty in developing the brand, app, and subsequent launch campaign.

A brand crafted to encapsulate the vibrant essence of festival life in Australia.

From the outset, it was evident that the SearchParty brand demanded a vibrant, bold, and colourful identity. This awareness directed our initial workshops with the client. Beyond the visual aspects of the brand, our goal was to also delve into the problem the app aimed to solve—unravelling the core purpose behind its creation.

As simple as it sounds, the goal was to amplify the fun by eliminating a common friction point: losing track of your friends in large crowds.

Educating the most distracted audience on the value of choosing SearchParty.

Today’s youth represents the most educated yet distracted cohort in human history. Effectively marketing to this audience requires educating them on how an app can genuinely simplify their experience. To accomplish this, we implemented a highly integrated and multi-channel approach encompassing everything from print, PR, digital marketing, and sponsorships to radio.
